« on: July 06, 2008, 06:29:23 AM »

Had a little situation a couple of days ago. Pulling onto our deck, to put it away.

The front tire slipped out from the wet grass and down she went. I was only at crawling speed.

The only damage to the bike is a little scratch on the good side fairing.  Sad

However, the open clutch gave me a good beating, as it was hitting my leg. Felt like a baseball bat smacking it, while I tried to get it turned off.

The photos are from today, but it happened on Wednesday night. It was like a softball a hard as a rock that night.

Will be fab'n up a new clutch cover now.

Sorry to hear.  Looks like a lot of swelling.  Was the clutch completely open?

You haven't had the full Ducati experience until you've had a dry clutch kick your ass.  Grin

Heal quick dude.
