Took the Long Way Home.

I was only a 120 miles, but I went to an extended family function and didn't want to slab it back home.

Crossing a local lake, I found one of my favorite types of bridges.  I love how these steel superstructure bridges look.

The next cool thing I found was the remains of a drive-in theater.  These were awesome.

Then, I found a tank.  I stopped and grabbed a pick and as I rode away, I shouted "Tanks a lot!"

My route carried me past a plant for a famous vegetable packer.  I'm sure your familiar with the commercials with "Duke" the dog.

The road surface got a little sketchy on the way home.

Stopped a Bojangles for some supper and found this sitting out front.

Dont get to see too many tanks by the roadside down in my part of the world.

Not too many bridges like that either.
