That it is.  Now retired and moved to Alabama.

You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

You could try to be a generals aide of some kind. But that sounds like more trouble than you want just to get leather seats and walnut trim.

Could be...

Maybe he will hire me to fly it for him since Mel is dragging her feet on buying one.

I'm sure the front is hardly any different than a standard H60.

I just found out what happened to one of the aircraft we used to have at our squadron. Tail number 164763. The "NOLA Belle"  seen here.

This one had a Damaged flight station that required extensive repairs du to a ground mishap early in it's life. Soon why not give it to the Marines.  Grin

I was expecting something more like this:

Gene Ryack: Well down here at Crazy Gene's Used Airplanes, people think we're out of our minds since we slashed the prices on our used C-123's!
Billy Covington: Gene, you cant sell the plane! It's government property!
Gene Ryack: The U.S. Government doesn't exist in Laos and neither does this plane!
Billy Covington: Good point!

Actually that one I have pictured is the Dixie Belle 164762 but The Nola Belle was identical to it.
This is it.
Looks like it went to Pax River and got some refueling pods added on or something.

Another Birthday...

The girl is 50 today!

Considering that one is 50, it makes me wonder what we may have flying above us out now days.  I guess I check with Area 51...
