I would also guess that it's the 2V from the hyper/ multi, tho with the tricolore in the S4R, would that not signify a final edition as well?
maybe a choice, 2V air or 4V water (the 1098 naked), both at the new capacities? Add the SSS, and the 696 cosmetics, and..... well that's my prediction.

It's a good prediction. The bike shows in Europe are starting soon aren't they? We might even see something pop up by the end of the year.

If I was a betting man... I'd say a detuned 1098 engine is on the cards: maybe making 140hp.

Sounds nice but I think I have too much power now? [moto] The 1000 has sooo much low down grunt already. But that is progress I suppose! Rob

Rob I was reading a comparison between torque curves of the models (stock) - it stated that from 3 to 6k rpm the 992ds produces more torque than the 998 in the S4Rs. Just what we need a 1100 with even more!!!! I think the new style will transverse to the 'premium' bikes very well.

Thats what I am talking about Spidey the torque is just nuts with the 1000. Like I have stretched 2 chains now because I give the bike everything to get that grunt out of corners! you cant tell I love my bike??? [moto] Rob

is that the same motor as in the Bimota? If you look closely it has the Ducati embossed on the engine case
