That huge empty space under the seat looks weird. The rest of the bike is really nice, though.

I think the coolest thing about a lot of these late 70's/early 80's Honda customs is they're mostly subtraction. I remember how blown away I was by how gnarly an old Goldwing looked with all the crap removed.

What's wrong with them? the look? I think they're meant to be old school replica's. Looks like dated performance, that's what I wouldn't like otherwise I'm indifferent. I could see why someone would think they look like crap....the more I look at them the more they suck. I like modern tires and wheels on cafe bikes.

Agreed. If you're gonna take a dated tech machine and use some current tech like suspension, carb upgrades, etc, to improve performance (the whole point of a street racer) then why skimp on the tires? For the period look? Then get rid of the updated suspension, etc!

Not really talking about this bike specifically but of many "cafe" bikes I've seen.
