Near the neck is the plate where the ignition is mounted. It's sides have a large hole in it. I wonder if your M unit fob sensor would fit in one of them.

I tought about it  but I tink I'm just gona put it underneat the top yoke
 Although after a lot of design I foud the most pratical  place for the M-lock underneat to motorscope. This way , if there's an emergency I reach for it easselly.

Update .... heee ... advice .. lol

I tried to put the m-unit beside the airbox ... bang head to mutch heat..
after... I've decided to put it in the back of the bike ..... the loom is as big as before   bang head

Fist thing...... I'm gona get new wire's.    I foud wires that are compress whit each other  within a sigle wire.

Second thing  . I'm thinking about passing the loom trough the frame .. ??
not sure about that...... but .....  coffee

Now for the moment, I've mounted the old loom whit a lot of the motogadget goddie's

For info it took me about a day installing the motorscope and the M-lock on the original loom  waytogo

That's how I did mine with 9 strand Belden wire like this one ( http://www.alliedelec.com/search/productdetail.aspx?SKU=70005090 ). Made a run of it to the back where power is easier to get to.

Hi ducatigirl100,

I posted this question on a new thread but since you've done such an impressive job with all your bike's wiring here, I was hoping to get your opinion as well before I do anything permanent. I'm quoting myself below:

Hi all,

I've read up all the posts I could find here and elsewhere on replacing/removing the stock gauges, and anything that explains the Ducati immobilizer system. I thought I had learned what I needed to do, but I ran into a snag and wonder if anyone could help, as several members on this forum have gone this route before.

I have a 2003 M800ie and want to remove the stock gauges to replace with (possibly) the motogadget tiny. I went ahead and had my local bike shop deactivate the immobilizer. There was a bit of drama but in the end they told me the immobilizer was deactivated. The ECU is otherwise stock, no new maps, and the bike drives normally. However when I disconnect the dash gauges, the bike won't start.

The shop tells me this is because power is routed through the dash and I will have to 'close this circuit' and suggests I find a wiring schematic. Nothing I've read discusses this issue, and my impression was that the gauges could be removed with impunity once the ECU had a deactivated immobilizer. So did I miss something, or is the immobilizer still working?

I thought of an experiment to prove my theory, I was going to 'disassemble' the RFID from one of my black keys (with a hammer) and see if the bike starts with the dash connected properly. If it doesn't, then I guess I will need to have a chat with the bike shop regarding their work. Does anyone have another suggestion before I start breaking things?

Many thanks.

Did you run into this when you replaced your gauges? I noticed you had posted a schematic on this thread, would you happen to have a higher definition copy that I can look at? I want to be sure before I walk into this guys shop and tell him his work didn't take.

Merci bien!

@thump.

I have a 1995 monster so it didin't any antitheif system and non ECU ... so the instalation was easy

The wiring diagram rhat I've posted was a diagram that I've created myself for a full motogadget system whit the M-unit, M-button and motorscope tiny ...  so it would be no use in your case.

@thump

But every mod in the world can be done ...  you juste to find the whrigth wire connection

I'll trie ro find the wiring diagram for your bike to give you a wire to wire scheme
