A Ducati likes to test your loyalty, she is no doubt more than a little miffed as you have been unfaithful lately. A new fully charged battery could temporarily cover up a more serious problem, if she starts playing up again (she is allowed to play up, you are not) it could be the starter motor itself which is on its way out. I do remember Matty had all sorts of electrical problems with his s4r which was solved immediately when he replaced the starter motor. Hopefully but yours was just the battery, battery on a Ducati needs regular charging if its not being ridden often, especially in winter. cheers and good luck with it.

Thanks mate. The Monster should be fine now. I did a massive wheelstand on the race bike and smashed the sump the other night. LOL

if your clutch rod was seized it can do the opposite and not let the clutch fully retract u need to adress that seized clutch
and a good battery shoud just be above 12 volt sitting idle
