ime stalling on the overrun is due to richness.  the mv 4 cylinder models were really bad for it, and the fix was to lean the idle mixture out using the trimmer until they stopped.  we used 3% co, not 5% on everything but the first 750 f4 pretty much.

but if this 796 is running a std or dp ecu, it should be closed loop so theoretically can't be too rich.  maybe it has an o2 sensor fault?

std ECU (bike is stock). wouldn't that  (o2 sensor) throw a CEL?

not a real update yet, but at least it's going to the dealer tomorrow. so we'll see what's up...

just got the callback... there was something clogging a line in/near the MAF (or something like that, that was causing a pressure problem internally) so all they have to do is clear it out.
