The familiar Yamaha AMA/MotoAmerica Superbike team won’t be in MotoAmerica in 2020.
Yamaha plans to hand the effort off to Richard Stanboli’s Attack team which fielded JD Beach in 2019.

Ultimately it’s always about money. He might be taking less money for the possibility of going back to MotoGP later, where there’s more money.
I don't think Alvaro will ever go to GP with Honda. There's too much fresh meat in the system for that to happen. I've been wrong before. |

IMO.
I wasn't thinking a move to Honda in GP would be his decision... and yeah...he's making a mistake going to Honda in SBK. |

Sounds like Zarco will be Yamaha’s test rider next year. At least Jarvis confirmed that Yamaha has sent him a proposal. I think that would be good for Zarco to be in a good spot to get a ride with Yamaha, satellite or factory, in 2021
