Maybe what I'm experiencing myself, talking to English as first language people makes my English better (less poor), but talking to Germans, Italians, French destroy my skills. Strange that the same happens to English as first language Jack, but maybe that's how it is....

Down here we think it's pretty funny. ;D
It's quite noticeable that Jack starts the season with his regional country twang, but over the season develops a distinctly Latin inflection to his accent. If we're lucky he might even start waving his hands about, which would be a treat. [laugh]
