Sounds like the lady today that didn't realize bicycles are supposed to be ridden on the road...

Crossing a 1-lane bridge (signs are up to be courteous) I was the last in a line of 4 cars.  10 mph speed limit, so I'm actually speeding keeping up with the other cars going closer to 20mph.  As I pass the 1st car waiting on the traffic to clear the bridge (beat up mid-2000 Dodge truck) the female driving screams "RIDE ON THE SIDEWALK"  She really showed her ignorance to a large group of pedestrians walking the sidewalk she felt I should be riding on.  She was sitting a few feet from a sign marking that bicycles were NOT to be on the sidewalk  [laugh]

Not only that, in NC (as I'm sure in many other states) a bicycle is treated as a car in regards to traffic control (stop signs, red lights etc).

Here is some advice from a guy who spends most of his day driving a Freightliner for a living...............
Road rage is not worth it guys.
Back  off, slow down ,stay cool and let the other guy(s) make complete asses out of themselves.
If you are on a bike , pull over and wait for a couple minutes to let the road-ragers get ahead of you so that no ill will comes your way.
I find that when I get frustrated its usually time for a cup of something good from Starbucks or wherever and I let the stress dissipate away.
Going to jail over something stupid is really not worth it.
Getting shot is definatly not worth it.
Getting run off the road is not worth it.
If what is happening is threat to your life get the number of the car and call it in to the cops, they will help!
So lets recap now............. slow down, keep your anger under control ,pull over and take a break-You probably deserve one anyway.
Stay cool on the roads friends...............

I got that from a guy the other day in Calgary.  And there were even 2 lanes in each direction, and very little traffic! [roll]
