Also replaced all the vacuum lilnes, heater lines, heater core, fuel lines, and rebuilt the carb and fuel pump.

Oh, and I replaced the fuel lines too.

The DMV wanted to know the mileage.

No problem.

I'll just remove that and....

and remove that bit in the way and....

If you look down from the top you can read the numbers and extrapolate which ones were in the front. Easy.

Painted the floor.

And the inner fenders

Moved the batteries from being a large center console to behind the seats, as I need at least a three seater.

It was a fire truck. I don't know what all these holes are for.

Prime:

I put sound deadener on the floor as the drivetrain is really noisy.

It's got no roof, so it won't help, but it looks better than the paint, so there's that.

The astute will notice the roller on the floor.

There wasn't room to spray it in the shop, so that's what it got.

Shiny.

make the beast with two backsing thing still won't run.

I mean, it will, but not in the stock configuration. The fuel pickup is plugged solid, and it looks like that put that in before they closed up the tank.

Gas goes it. Gas no come out.

No one makes one that I can find, and the local radiator shop that used to do such things told me to get stuffed today.

There's that and making the signals signal. Then I can tow the boat, which I also fixed.  Grin

It's been busy-all this since November.

Is your arm back to normal?  Maybe I missed a post or two on that?

Cool projects!

I found a guy who said he'd fix it (I sure ain't self-teaching how to braze a fuel tank).

He would probably call Nate a whipper-snapper.  laughingdp

Roller? Cry

You have to admit, it has a fair amount of shine in the pics.

That was surprising - I've seen my share of latex-roller paint jobs, and that's several orders of magnitude better looking.  waytogo
