Had a Superlight that came with SL904 from the previous owner. I guess SL900 was taken; still, not bad.

I had "IL DUCE" it was awesome! My Italian friends asked for my expired plates. Some of the American friends didn't get it.
I have to admit I don't get it either. wonder why lol
Hmm ... probably for the same reasons as "IL DUCE". Without getting 'all political' most would consider them two sides of the one coin.

It's Italian for "The Leader".

Yeah but it's really the Italian equivalent of Der Fuhrer. That's what they called Mussolini.

I knew that... It's one of the reasons we don't discuss politics or political leaders. Let's change direction here...K?

I'm generally not a fan of vanity plates. Imo they need to be pertaining to the vehicle or very clever because down here, they are 500+ bucks just for the actual plate, plus an activation fee. My wife got me one for my 50th birthday. It's on the wall . My old Superlight still has the excellent SL904 with its current owner and I imagine it will stay with the bike forever.

It's all relative to context. In the movie Boondock Saints, Billy Connolly'a character was called Il Duce. I'm thinking that's the reference in this instance. Plus he's club president.

That's not cheap. For me, normal tag is $28/year, and the vanity one is $48/year. If I ever get a Triumph, it'll be GOTUMPH?

The script said "El douche" but he didn't like it.

Check out my oil filter forensics thread! Offended? Click here"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
