Did you ever see the Rometsch?

I've only seen one at a show in soCal.  Type 1 motor, bug frame.  So pretty.

that's a nice fastback..  loved those too.. basically, the type 3 was the best VW motor.  put the coolign fan right on the crankshaft -- where it belongs.

(Still has proper ride height. I gotta confess I don't really get....  all these low-arse, almost sitting on the ground suspension mods  :-\).
