Ducati only sells matched case halves, and AFAIK, they come stuffed full of bearings and bits.
If you can get the number that's stamped on the cases, left side below alternator, I can decode what they are.
Or a couple more pics from the outside, that show motor mounts and the neutral switch area.
They look good from what I can see, they've got the inserts for the main bearings.

You can shim the clutch springs, 1.5-2mm, confirm that they do not coil bind with maximum lever pull.

2273 0162A and 2263 0162A  [thumbsup]

They were new to me last winter - 7,100 km on them. Not looking to replace them. I just searched the numbers to verify model year - looking for main bearing numbers. There are two circular symbols in front of the vertical cylinder, of which one might be showing 98 (year of production?)

New rod bearings, Carillo rod bolts, main bearings ready to go. Even though it might be considered stupid to keep this engine alive - it was too late to turn around at this point - the things we do for love..... There won't be a next time though. Next time will probably be a stock'ish 1100.

My Bitubo shock is soon ready from overhaul and other parts are here or on their way....

ST fork with some GSX internals almost here...

Things that won't be done:
- stone chip marks on frame, rearsets, exhaust and wheel. Well, maybe a drop of paint here and there...
- rashed ehaust. I'll change the exhaust straps though.

Things done:
- overhauled bottom end, including new Carillo rod bolts. No more whining noise - unknown why, but good.
- new Nikasil on cylinder walls
- new Pistal pistons at 30,000 km (the previous pair ran for 50,000 km before I burned a hole in one and Pistal never heard of anyone using them successfully for such mileage. Better safe than sorry...)
- overhauled heads including a new cam and one of it's rocker arms
- new stock 750 clutch pack and stiffer springs. Grabby. Might become better.
- did the first 1,000 km oil change. Flawless.
- painted engine side covers
- painted swing arm
- new clip on parts (thanks Ung)
- new mirrors
- new U-brackets, both large and small
- new instruments adjusted for correct mileage (lost fuel reserve miles and the ability to delete Maintenance warning)
- new footpeg
- new fork - ST4 with GSXR internals. Tubes anodized and bottoms powder coated black. GREAT!
- overhauled shock. GREAT!
- probably forgot something....

Things waiting:
- coated and painted tank, fairing and seat cover.
- closer to full bodily recovery
