65kg?

Put that glass down, mate, you've had more than your fair share.

Somebody was paying attention ... I notice the big fella himself remained silent. Nothing wrong with giving a bloke a lift when his down.

About me specifically: three bones dislocated in left foot and lots of associated smashed soft tissue, right knee dislocated, hip/pelvis parts not on the same team, right side glut max smashed up, almost all right side torso/core and shoulder muscles torn or in defensive cramps, internal organs shaken, couple of bruised ribs, dislocated collar bone, stiff neck - nothing major, just painful.

Damn.. sounds "major" enough, but you'll walk again at least!   waytogo
sorry to see your bike banged up as well,  But it will roll again as well.

Looks like your attitude wasn't damaged.. glad to see that!   Wink   chug   Dolph

Thanks  waytogo Everyone reads that sticker as Termignoni - only when I tell them to read it again, they see it's not.

Thanks  waytogo  I realize there's a fine line between "nothing major" and disabling disaster, so I am thankful.  It's probably easier to have a relaxed attitude behind the keyboard than the first time I'm going back to the track to push the limits. Even though a highsider is more dramatic, it's also easier to know exactly what I did wrong and hopefully avoid it. Sometimes I hear people crash without a clue about why - they tend to later second guess their abilities and can feel insecure for a long time/forever. At the moment I don't feel scared, but I won't know how I really feel until I ride again. I'm optimistic though  Smiley

So.... most of my limbs are healing as expected - nice! Left ancle was more painful and healed slower than we liked, so I had it scanned and x-rayed. Three fractures and a whole lot more explained why. A couple of months should do it waytogo

Bike is coming along  Dolphcoffee  I'll do nice things to it during winter, but for now it's just about getting it back on the road for a few rides before it gets ice'y (probably December)

New instruments are on, but will probably be reprogrammed for actual mileage - zero miles on this bike seems like plastic surgery. New throttle control and wire, grips, mirror/brake bracket, reservoir, turn signal and several bolts replaced. New foot peg and eccentric peg bracket (had some CycleCat spares in a box) Engine, filters, oil screen checked.

Would be difficult to repair, so I ordered new slip ons (Termignoni classic models remake), bikini fairing from a 620 (half price compared to S2R), bought a lightly scratched un-expanded tank from my dealer.

Hopefully, next week I'll be able to swing a leg over and see how it feels  Cool

Thanks Torbjörn  waytogo

Very long healing time, but that's probably normal for an old man  cheeky

Getting a box of parts from the US next week. Riding season is ending soon and then I start tearing it apart, repairing, painting, replacing, upgrading....

Strange ... I do all these things as well, even though I did not crash .... well, maybe apart from repairing this time Wink

More parts arriving - this time from MonsterParts and others  waytogo

Not all of these are crash related, but the joy is the same  Cool

Used clutch cover, old version grey rather than silver - don't know if and how it should be painted...
Instrument connector, hopefully the correct type. Plastic foot peg plugs to comply with race regulations. Viper signals. Grip glue for my Grip Puppies. Low profile WoodCraft axle sliders. (Not really visible) tank logos, Meccanica style - this time just white outline because I think my previous were a little too bold/fat. Scorpio alarm back up battery to hopefully reduce how the alarm eats moto battery during little-riding-season. Rizoma fluid reservoir. Cool give aways from Jeff, hand warmers, patch and key ring. Hella horn kit (they don't react well to direct pressure washing...) Best winter socks ever! SSR longer kick stand. Top of the line race gloves - Cortech took a beating very well, fits my hands perfect and these have all the bells and whistles.

Good to hear that you are on the mend and that the bike is getting fixed. I love my Monster, but this is the reason I stopped taking it to the track, it's not well suited for the track and expensive to fix when you drop it.

Hope you're up and running soon.
