I've got a set of '05 620 Gauges for sale with about 14K miles on them in good working condition. Those should work. PM me if you want more info or pics. I'd be willing to ship them directly to S.O.S. diagnostics  http://www.sosdiagnostics.com/Ducati.html if you want to send them your ecu to get it mated to the new gauges. They could also set the milage to match what you have on your bike. They 're great to work with and have a fast turn around.

This is how you're supposed to do it:

Bayliss is an amatuer compared to Alvaro Bautista. He loves to crash in spectacular fashion

Congrats on not getting the body messed up too badly!
About a month ago a fellow decided to turn left on a country road just as a friend and I set up to pass, I don't remember what happened next butt was told that my bike was airborn and I cushioned it's fall! The bike is fine now, butt my shoulder continues to slowly heal.....
Uncontrolled stoppies are a bad idea, it seems....

How are you and the bike going?

The bike is waiting for the insurance settlement, then parts and finally our time and my fitness to work on it....

About me specifically: three bones dislocated in left foot and lots of associated smashed soft tissue, right knee dislocated, hip/pelvis parts not on the same team, right side glut max smashed up, almost all right side torso/core and shoulder muscles torn or in defensive cramps, internal organs shaken, couple of bruised ribs, dislocated collar bone, stiff neck - nothing major, just painful.

Bummer. Good it wasn't worse though.

Your insurance will cover a race? Or was this a track day crash?

If you're gonna high side...at least try to take someone with you for company!

Hey mate sorry to hear about your 'little' incident. Glad you are on the mend.

But geez ... the lengths some people will go to when they are stuck for what to do next to their bikes   Roll Eyes cheeky

How long until the big chill sets in? Looks like a busy 'off-season' coming up. Good luck.

I don't think this would have ended so well for our hero - I've seen the big fella on the track. Imagine this ...
 - He is rounding up over-powered and under-ridden Superbikes on his little Monster like sheep at dog trials
 - One moves out into his racing line unable to comprehend the speed of the approaching Monster
 - A high speed stoppie is not enough to avoid shunting the Superbike further down the track while the wee Monster is left to its own devices
 - All 65kg of Norwegian muscle is propelled several metres into the air
 - A perfectly executed triple somersault with pike sees him now riding as pillion on aforementioned Superbike
 - The end result of a startled rider now having an unexpected passenger and travelling at a greater speed ... I don't think it would be a smooth finish

I'll leave it up to the engineers/physicists to calculate the impacts of that little scenario.

Thanks  waytogo Like I said - opportunities  Wink

I'd normally ride another ~three months - until snow falls, so the plan is to make the bike rideable 'soon' and hope my body is 'ok' by then. Details, paint and other 'can-wait' issues during winter.
