Sorry - I've posted photos from Photobucket here before, but can't recall how...

The post in FAQS is no help - Photobucket doesn't look anything like what is shown.

You need to add a link in between the image tags. In your first post there is no link.

Click 'remove' to the right of your post, but you can't delete the thread.  bang head

Thanks all!   Roll Eyes  That's the after photo - here's the before:

[/URL]

I had asked in a previous post about the Panigale switchgear...

http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=73520.0

...and when that seemed like more trouble and expense than I was up for, I looked for an alternative.  Didn't have to look too far, as I have an SV650 which has these switches, and a few measurements confirmed that they would give me the better turning radius I was after, and the better looks too.  Found a nice clean set on ebuy for $35 and was able to solder them to the M695 wires without melting anything. (This required a few beers.) The Mster had a separate throttle with larger diameter cable pulleys and the SV is a one piece throttle/switch module...

...so I found a throttle body pulley of the matching 34mm diameter (most are this diameter - don't know what this one came from) and adapted it.  I made this simple bracket to mount the shortened SV throttle cable:

I was able to eliminate the fast idle cable and it's bracket because with the FatDuc oxygen sensor manipulator there's no need - it idles and runs fine when cold.

Thanks.  I knew that - I was just hoping you'd answer so I could see the photo of the blonde babe again.   Kiss

Why would my photos be gone?  There are only boxes with a question mark in a blue square...

Photobucket does maintenance from time to time and pics will disappear then return.

I see - thanks again.  A guy can learn a lot on this forum - even if it's not about motorcycles.
Apparently nobody cares about my switches anyway... Sad

As long as you didn't delete them from your album, they should regenerate. Oh and it doesn't matter if anyone other than you like them or not.  Wink

Actually, they are pretty snappy looking... nice job, particularly with the cable fab at the throttle body.  I always liked my Honda switches, but it's a nogo with my 796 because of the data toggle.
