Good idea that. And a great re-fresh. I made one out of a carbon fibre sheet to mount my electrics on: And luckily it worked when fitting the Ducati ST2 electrics: All I did was weld some more supporting tabs on to the inside of the frame, you can just see them here: Yorkie

@Yookie ... nice work I was watching that tread I like the idea of welding tabs into the inside of the frame . My husband as a welding kit at home .... I ask him if he wants to do it ....I'll trade a week of landry/dishe's ...for the service The contrast of the suspension arm remaining the original color and the frame and the swingharm loop red is a nice detail.

I didn't have a lot of time to work on the bike the last 2 weeks but here it is .... I'm starting to think about powdercoating the weels and the frame. I was wandering what preperation do I have to do before taking it to the pewercoater man..... Weels ? Do I take out the berings and everiting? Do I sand the weels or make any special preperarion ? The frame : do I sandblast it or sand it ? Or leave it as it is?

Remove the bearings and cush drive rubbers. All the parts need to be bare metal for coating. Let the powder coater do it.

My second question is what color I soult paint the bike Option 1 : Paul smart theme Seagreen frame and black wheels. I would peal off the paint from the gas tank and give it a brush aluminium finish whit a coat of clear Whit a ducati classic decals on the sides .... Or Option 2 : black wheels and frame and keep the tank red whit the checkerd flag on it ....altougth the tank is all scrath up from a fall last year.... maybe not as original as the other option .....

Only you can know what you want the bike to look like. Doesn't matter what I like.

Tanks for the tip You'll probably damage all the parts that come out of the wheels. Plan on ordering new ones, or an option is to have the frame powder coated, and the wheels painted.

Not for the last 2 years but here a photo of what I did .... I dont remembre what the size of the jets are ... but on the left his my version and on the rigth it's shows the stock setup.... There's acualy 2 main jet a big one and a smaller one ...... the torque is great whit that modification. The flow of the gas is more direct
