I put a Motogadget mini in the same location in '10. I liked it, but it was a bit far to pull my eyes off the road and get them back to it.
Got a LOT of compliments on it though and your mount looks better than mine did!

I got rid of the -
-airbox
-original battery
-origibal electrical loom
-original gauges.
-key cluster
I think I'll saved at least 25 lbs of the upper weigth of the bike...
Now I'm only missing two things to finish the bike... a lithium/ion battery and those K&N air filters

Looks sharp!
I'm on the fence about the fairing. If you've gone to that much effort to install the MotoGadget mini where the key was, it will leave a LOT of open room behind the fairing which should normally house gauges. Could be good if you put a small compartment up there for a camera, or personal items.

Thats my opinon too. The fairing is pratical but after putting so mutch effort in cleaning up the front of the bike I dont like covering all the work .

I did the first electrical tests today whit the lithium /ion battery...
Everyting is working properly. A little clean up is necessary though...and yeah I forgot ...I have to do a battery trey... Now, I 'm just waithing for the K&N air filters and some parts to complete the exausts
I just cant wait to ear the engine ...after about a year and a half !
