At first, I thought you were referring to NAKID but then you mentioned Badass.

I don't know why you always forget that I'm taller than you...  [laugh]

Another vote for the Monster here. Anyone buying a Ducati appreciates “character” in their bikes and the Monster will outshine the Scrambler all day in that category.

You know you're so wrong, I have a scrambler FT and an 1100s monster both well modded and I can assure you that the scrambler attracts way more attention than the monster must be the old school looks.
My personal favourite is the monster but hell what do I know... [bow_down]

I'll prepare for the backlash in advance but......
In my opinion, the Scrambler doesn't even belong in Ducati's lineup. Ducati has never been about watered down retros until they became popular with the current generation. I cringe at the videos on their Scrambler website because I've always associated Ducati with high performance bikes (Ferrari of motorcycles). The Monster gets my vote.
That being said-I test rode a Desert Sled and had a blast on it.
Also, buy and ride what you like. I'm no hater. But you asked for opinions.
Cheers,  Steve.

Hmmm...what about the MH900e, and more recently, the Sport Classic series?
