I hope we can do this again soon and if you need help organizing please let me know what I can do.  Maybe a last meet before winter rolls in kind of thing?  Hopefully the next time will have better weather.  Howie and Mike, sorry you guys missed it, next time.

+1  I would like another meet up before winter, still waiting on those parts.......dealer said its something with the dash :'(

That was a HELLOVA save on Flatbush!!!  Nice work!!

BTW - Department of Suspension no longer carries Matris stuff.  Your best bet for Matris is PJ's Parts.

Although, there may be other preferred vendors for your manufacturer...  just sayin'

To all involved. That was a great day!

Thanks to Clinton for setting this up, thanks to Kevin for leading us to the brunch spot cause we woulda NEVER found it otherwise.  Thanks to Eric for leading/planning an awesome ride, Jake for sweepin (cause I know that aint easy, especially with 12!) and the rest of the US's as well.  And big thanks to Jim for the t-shirts! They came in handy when we were soaked sittin in Roscoe eating.

For those that missed it, I hope you can join again soon, it's well worth it. They're adventures for sure.

And to mother nature. Just wanted to let you know, when I got home I poured about a pint of water outta my left boot! Thanks!!!!  :-*

That last pic is us at WalMart and all 7 bikes neatly tucked into 1 parking spot.  WalMart FTW!!!!  [thumbsup]

We get to do this again in 2 weeks. (total recall style!) "TWO WEEKS!!!!"

Thanks everyone for an unforgetable day. It was great to meet all of you. The ride was an experience I will never forget. I never thought I would ever ride in weather that bad let alone at 80 mph and feel confident. Thanks jake for sweeping ( terry you didn`t have to for a change) and GC for leading us into some great roads. As a beginner. I love to ride w/ you guys. I know that I am in good hands and I always feel like I progress a lot everytime I go out. I feel  very safe. That one stretch where we were all just cruising was great, I was doing so well, double the speed signs on most turns.( until Jake and Terry passed me like I was standing still) in do time guys. Quote of the day was when we met back up at Roscoes after we trudged through the monsoon. Eric says " That was F`n awsome". As I look back on what we went through yesterday I have a huge grin on my face and can`t wait till next time.  ;D ;D ;D

The whole way home I kept thinking of posting this

It was nice meeting everyone at the breakfast meet. We have to do another one before the end of the season.

CDAWG - thanks for organizing and picking a nice restaurant with a piano man. ;D

Tom's finally dealt with his camera, his stuff and the bike rental - so now pictures can be posted!!!

Let's get started...

First, the early arrivals at 20 Front

Now, the late arrivals.  Count the Ducatis... I'm only seeing 4!   [laugh] [laugh]

I just liked this picture

Not the best composition, but I liked Pete flashing the gang signs here

Lotsa NYMMC DMF'ers

Relapse: "So you think Russia over reacted?"
Pakhan: "No, Russia can do what it damn well pleases.  We like to crush peasants."

NYMMC celebrities goldenchild, GotDuc and CDawg (l-r)

I love the fact that no one in this picture is looking at the same thing!! [laugh] [laugh]

R.J. and univox holding court.  Univox gets the "Save of the Day" award for riding out a tank slapper on Flatbush Avenue about 2 minutes after departing Gorilla

"Oh man, do you think we can do it?"
"Yeah, we can get $100 for each one on Ebay"
"How we gonna do it?"
"Just act natural, no sudden moves, these helmets are OURS!!" (cru jones and Dizzle)

It's already been noted that the Enhanced Usual Suspect ride got absolutely drenched.  This is the first stop, with us chilling with some Harley riders who wouldn't even look us in the eye and a couple of homies heading back to Kiryas Joel

This is the tease of the weather.  We thought we would be riding behind the storms.

We were wrong.  So very wrong.

Here's the underpass in Fishs Eddy where Pak and I tried to warm up and dry off.  For reference, 17 is above us, and this is facing due south.

I like the way this picture came out.  It's not perfect, but I like it anyway.

Even the bikes look cold and wet.  Pak's 749S and my CBR rental bike.

This picture means a lot to me because it symbolizes a typical Usual Suspects ride.  The road isn't the best, the conditions may not be that great, but the road holds a ton of promise.  Also, while the area may be absolutely gorgeous, you have NO time to appreciate its beauty because you're hurtling towards that 90 degree right hander, and it this point, you're effectively blind.

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.
