so i'm riding home from work yesterday.  i get home, dismount... and my right rear blinker is dangling in the wind!!!!!  what the hell is going on here?

also, right before that happened, i stopped for gas at some little station.  i have to remove the tank bag to get to the gas tank, and i always carefully place it on top of the pump upside down so that i don't get any dirt on it and scratch my tank.  i'm not used to using the tank bag, so after fueling up, i completely forgot about it and took off.  at my next stop (thankfully only 15 miles later) i realized what a dum dum i was and turned back.  course it wasn't there.     after looking around for a while (including in the trash can), i found it on the ground (in the didrt), open and picked through.  luckily, i didn't have my wallet or anything else of real value (save the summer sausage i had picked up in bellville!!! yum!).  i'm just glad that the loser who rifled through my bag didn't realize it's value.
