Riding home today. 405 South. I see a guy in a white sedan weaving in and out of his lane. He's about 10 car lengths ahead and traffic is moving about 70 MPH. He weaves in and out of his lane, almost striking a couple of cars. I'm thinking he's on a cell phone since it's too early to be drunk (6PM). As I begin to pass him, I give him a short "beep" so he knows I'm there and doesn't run into me. He looks over at me and speeds up. I decide to get away from him and I drop it a gear and speed up. He then swerves into my lane, directly at me. I move over and hit the brakes and let him pass. If I wouldn't have been paying attention I would have certainly been hit.

Anyway. I have his name, phone number, and address. Any suggestions for the phone call I'm gonna make?

Call the police and report him. Perhaps he has done this to other people as well.

Does not hurt to have it on record.

If he was crazy enough to try to run you over your not going to get anywhere with him on the phone.

and........................

If he turns around and reports you to the  [leo] for the phone call you are going to make, you could find yourself in court.
Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

A report won't do anything. In fact the police won't even take one. No witness's (that I could get at 70 MPH), so it's his word against mine.

I was just thinking of something like, "Hi, this is the motorcyclist that you tried to run off the road, just wanted to say hi." No threat, but maybe he stops thinking he's so anonymous.

There is no crime in calling someone on the phone as long as I do not make threats.

I was hoping it was a company car, it would have been great to report him to an employer.

A person tried to run you off the road  ???

The police will take the report.

My aunt was followed by a crazy person and they took her report and looked into it.
They even contacted the person and questioned him.

I have reported several drunk drivers on the road myself. In this case it sound more like road rage but who knows since I was not there.

They won't take a report. I am the police, and I wouldn't take one if sent to the same exact call. There is no point in taking one.

Aren't you a cop?

Show up in your work uniform and explain to him the benefits of being courteous.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Soooooo many suggestions.

None of them even close to legal.
