Looks awesome Ivan. You still commute down the 91? How do the CF wheels react to that crappy stretch of road?

I still ride the Monster on the 91 at least one day a week, between Anaheim and Green River Rd.  The only really rough area is east bound, just east of the 91/57 interchange there are some washboard areas.

One of the big surprises (at least to me) is that the suspension seems to work better.  Its more noticeable in the twisties, bumps that used to unsettle the bike are now just absorbed.

I stopped riding that way last year when I got stranded down here. Hadn't seen you on that in a while before that. Bikes looks sweet though.

is there any thing compromised with CF wheels at all? Any concerns with using them on an everyday bike? I  really really love these and my white wheels are a pregnant dog to keep clean. But I do ride often and to work at least a few times a week.

As the OP stated, do your own research and decide. I did and found several guys who have had more than one set and a couple with over 40k miles on theirs!! There have been NO proven cases of failure due to manufacturing. The one case that got a lot of publicity was the one where a guy was racing at T-hill, had a crash, blamed it on the BST. He had a 3rd party company crash-analyze the wheel and they found no indication of mfg'er failure. BST obtained the wheel to inspect it and found likewise and even replaced the wheel (was out of warranty I think). Somewhere in the thread it linked off to a chat site/forum where some guys who were riding right behind the guy said the rider was pushing hard in 8, went off the edge of the track, lost traction had a high side and crashed. This was consistent with what the 3rd party said cause the damage to the wheel and BST found as well..

Go to the BST site  http://www.blackstonetek.com/technical_info.php and read their TUV (the most strict certification) and DOT certification processes. It will blow your mind. Each batch of wheels is tested on a device that applies 4500lb load and then side loads the wheel for a million cycles! I went ahead a bought a set.  [thumbsup] You can help to alleviate the UV damage by using a cleaner/polish that has UV protectioon in it. I am using a product by P&S that has it. I hear that Novus has UV protection too.

I am running the 7-spokers btw. But the testing is the same for both types....
