That is awesome.  Do you have any pics of the model before the mods?  It would be cool to compare.

I've just bookmarked this thread. That way, the next time I start to fret about my tendency to be obsessive-compulsive, I can just take a quick look and put things in perspective.

My hat's off to you.

Here's the promotional pic for the kit, so this is what it looks like when built cleanly (as in no weathering) and box-stock.

And this one shows some of the detailing I will be doing; this is the Dexter Models Senna transkit, with photo etched brake discs (cast iron type) and fasteners, as well as a corrected rear wheel nut with circlip. I have the kit coming in soon, among the other detail bits.

Hi-ho-hi-ho....its off to the track I go.................

I'm holding off from posting pics until it's finished, right now the bodywork is done and I'm just waiting on my detail parts to finish the running gear and the wiring.

Yeah, I set out to top that. :D

So far it's coming along well, I got the detail bits today (from StradaSports.com in MO) and it's almost finished. There are a few flaws, mainly the numberplates - didn't turn out great due to a paint reaction between the white and the red around the masking. Overall it looks very good - but no pics until I'm finished!
