Mac, let me know if you need any help after hours.  I don't have any expertise, but I have 2x free hands to lend.

Cheers,
Majdi

Thanks again for the offer however no extra hands could have made anything any faster tonight.

BTW ....... I saw you this afternoon/early evening when you were going down Kapiolani Blvd just before the BMW dealership. I was walking Sammy, waved to you and everything but not even a glimmer of recognition  Roll Eyes  laughingdp

Looking good!...what kind of exhaust is that?

Damn near custom. Certainly very limited production pieces that Frederick got out of Europe. Nice stuff isn't it?

Any tips for when I do mine?  How did you secure it?  I was thinking epoxy with the finer mesh but with that open screen it's more of a spot application.

Pretty easy actually, just cut it to size with a 1/4 to 3/8 inch overlap and press fit it...used an electric hot glue gun and applied lots of glue, it ain't pretty on the inside... Grin

Ah...hot goo, scourge of the '70s, hadn't considered that.  Good choice.

Thinking I might black mine out before I install it.

For FP's application I totally agree.  Keeps you from looking past it and into the intake.  For my 998 it's very hard to see unless you're 3'2", and I ride in hella rain.  I'm afraid the bare aluminum will chalk from the salt air.
