You might want to try a plug vs a patch...I believe a patch would have to go on the inside of the tire...hope you get it fixed for today's ride.

I had a plug installed before finally having to either get the patch or trash the tire.
FYI....I didn't know that plugs have very short life 40-50
Miles,,,,, when the plug failed.. Towed it to MM
Thank you Progressive towing insurance!!
My people skills are just fine.

Ordinarily I wouldn't have gone down there for that but I wanted to get a run without the baffles in place. Plus my co-worker changed out the exhaust on his Sportster and he wanted to see how it went. That bike has some crazy fueling issues but he took 2nd in his class. It was all still fun and got to see some good bikes and meet some good people.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

That's what it's all about...now I have to wait for the next JJ ride for that.

Damn, I have a flat on my rear and I am stuck at home.  What now?

Is the bike back up and running?   [Dolph]

Thanks to MD for coming over last night to loosen the the axle nut.  I was able to get the tire plugged/patched from the inside at SSD today.  Now I just need to put everything back and have MD to return and save the day before Sunday  [Dolph]
