Got the carbon buckle guard tank protector off the old tank. That was easy. Getting the glue off the tank is something else.  bang head

Also helped my upstairs neighbor set the new springs on the garage door. Door work good now. Bikes have freedom.   Dolph

Or a nicely modded Sport1000 for sale over this way.  ;-)

Your troubles might not be too severe.  Some of these bikes (2006 seems to be the worst year for it) had the fuel line inside the tank separate from the pump inside of the tank. It's a pain to fix, but only takes a little while to do once you get the tank off.

A little bump in the road and you guys have JIng on a new bike already!   laughingdp  Ben's right & I mentioned this in a phone call that the fuel hose to the pump is the most common culprit.  It takes a specially made fuel hose to live inside that gas tank too.  It is not the same hose that's on the outside. Ask me how I know.  Roll Eyes  That said, if it is the pump I have a good used one for sale just sitting in a box in the back room.

But..... If you're liking the SC you won't find a nicer one than what Ben is selling.   waytogo
