Came to the JOC today, signed out another 180 rounds, a higher spec tac vest and a couple of frags for my upcoming trip to the border...

Had a fairly good weekend.

Of course it rained most of Saturday but the WBSK races were good, real good.

Took the 240D to the shop & did light brake work to it. Fronts are all done and now just have to overhaul the rear calipers.

Wiped Ben's SC down (it got just slightly dirty riding it back to the shop in the rain last Sat. Put the trickle charger on the battery. If the weather cooperates next weekend I'll get it back to his place.

Started work on the Monster 900. I'm doing a valve adjustment & changing cam belts. Forgot the feeler gauges at home so I had to go back on Sunday & got the horizontal cylinder done valve adj. wise. Ran out of time to do the vertical cylinder so I'll get that next week. I'm kind of getting "back into" the Monster. It'll get a complete cleaning. I just knocked off the big pieces this weekend. I think I'll change out the rear shock spring while I'm at it.

One of these days the work projects will be done & it'll be back to just plain riding both bicycles & motorbikes on the weekends. Can't wait for that.

Went out on a helo ride to the Khyber Pass on Saturday.  The scenery out here is simply amazing!  We got to stop at the sight where they filmed the beginning of Iron Man, so that was pretty neat.  But by far the most exciting part of the trip was having the chance to put some rounds on target when we overflew a few Talibaddies...

Finally made the Colnago into a complete bike.  But, I've been sick for about a week, so I haven't really ridden it.
