Sorry about being a doubter, I guess that goes along with being a BMW owner also...pregnant dog, pregnant dog, pregnant dog... ;D

The doubt is good for the most part. It keeps all of us on our toes where we need to be. At least half of our success at work is because the techs know that there are two to three of us checking all the time, or at least most of the time. Human nature being what it is.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

I've already invited you.   ;)

And in a few weeks, we would be able to take both bikes out there.  Do one pass, and then swap.   [evil]

The invite is all good and all. However.......

Don't mind me too much. I've got a bike with a tank full of gas and it's raining. Plus I have to go into the shop and rebuild the front end on the car which will take all day. So I'm just grumpy, not that you could tell from any other day.  [laugh]

Then there's always beer & cigars at the end of the day with MotoGP tomorrow.   [beer]

That's Skyline Drive, in the Shenandoa (spelling?) National Forest. The road is on federal land and patroled pretty heavily from what I'm told. The speed limit ranges from35 to 45 on most of it, but you really don't do go much faster. Well, until I learn the road that is.   [evil]

Noticed the effects of ethanol in our gas in the form of a small bump and a bulge in my gas tank this morning.

Went to the shop and bothered Rick for a couple hours this afternoon.

Stopped by SSD on the way home to have the ethanol bump & bulge documented.

Took apart the 240D front suspension yesterday and replaced the lower ball joints on both sides and replaced the upper control arms/ball joints too. New wheel bearings on the left front wheel. Didn't get finished until about 6pm.  Whew!

Had nine riders in our group today. Good ride. A little on the big side for the group but OK.

That's cool.  One thing that I am starting to realize about living/riding here; I got used to riding with a bunch of SBK owners down on Oahu, and most everyone here are riding monsters.  Feels like I am stuck in 3rd gear.  lol

Anyhow, happy 4th everybody.   [beer]

If I may, Happy 4th to you guys...!!!
Today, I did something I usually don't do almost never, nothing, yeap, that's what I did, apart from watching the Moto2 & MotoGP races, nothing...
Have a good one...

The wiff is flying out for an unknown amount of time tomorrow, so this weekend has been pretty concentrated around getting ready to go.  Fun times indeed.
