Can't touch that ---  don'cha know.   waytogo

Just did the usual stuff today.    Oil & filter long overdue on the 240D.  Shift linkage bushings are not the usual MB shift rod stuff but up in the shift lever bucket.  Angry  Put rim strip tapes on Majdi's bike. Looks pretty good but, as always, I think I can do a better job.  Good thing he has lots of extra tape.  Leak tested an old Monster tank I've had for years and it checks out great.... Now Frederick can buy it and we'll install it on his/my old bike. Started stripping down the yellow 620.

Yanked out the dB killers on the 848.   Evil

Cleaned/lubed the chain and watched Rick install rim tape on my wheels while I played foreman!  Attended a polo scrimmage (season ended last month) while enjoying a delicious dinner at the North Shore.

I just finished watching the MotoGP race live, but was left with a pit in my stomach and tears in Teresa's eyes...may "Super Sic" RIP  Cry

Welcome back to the dark side...thanks again for installing the rim-tape for me.   chug

Rode the bike to work today and notice both of my gear change rod and shifting pedal are bent.  Can't imagine why they are bent.  Never dropping it or anyting, but it sure answers why I have been missing the gears while shifting.  Wondering if  I should order new parts or just bend it back with a table vice?

Maybe someone knocked it over and picked it back up without telling you. It usually is possible to bend it straighter but might not be perfect. On a related note I will be having a perfectly straight pedal & rod coming off the yellow bike soon.  Grin

They're yours. I'll make you a good deal on them. Tomorrow will be a little bit of a bike work day as I'll be swapping a Monster fuel tank but it'll mostly be a car day as I have to change a leaking water pump on a 5.6 liter Mercedes V8.  Tongue

Finally completed my class after a 2x hour long exam.  I treated myself to a lunch date w/ Teresa, then stopped at Liquor Collection for a 6x pack of Coconut Porter and Pumpkin Ale.  Dropped off the E92 to get the low pressure fuel sensor replaced.  Now, we're carving pumpkins while watching Halloween (by Rob Zombie).
