Going to rest my knees tomorrow.  It's been almost a week since the great aloha run, but my knees are still hurting.  Sure don't want it to buckle while I come to a stop.

Beautiful day for a motorbike ride, but my four wheel obsession calls...

It was indeed a nice day for motobikes but no more big club rides for me. Too much drama. I prefer a tight, small group.

Lost two bikes on Snake. The guys are OK but a bit rashed up. One R1 nearly broken in half the third corner down.  In all the confusion and excitement one other guy simply fell over. His bike is all scraped up too but you can hardly tell because of damage from crashes in the past.  Roll Eyes  Dude was wearing a tank top. Rash on his shoulders and arm but he doesn't count as part of the main attraction crash. All of these guys ride slower than we do and from the looks of them & their bikes crashing is part of a normal weekend.  Roll Eyes

Today was my second and last ride with that group.

Brandon & I had a good time over Tantalus after all was said & done.    [moto]

I know I'm a hater and all, but for the number of shots this guy takes, it's amazing he isn't better at it.  He picks such boring angles from such beautiful and twisty roads.  I'm curious as to how much money he makes off of it, and how much more he (or someone else) could make with interesting shots.

HOORAY FOR FORUMS HAWAII!!!

laughingdp laughingdp    I know where you're coming from but to be fair to FH not all of them are of dubious character & semi-limited talent.  I think what went down ( pun intended ) had to do with lots of enthusiasm which, unfortunately, wasn't matched by judgment, experience or enough skill.  Halfway jokingly I chided our front runners for having sucked the victims into a bit of hare & hound, all of which was immediately and roundly denied.

I think the standard disclaimer of "You gotta ride within your limits" was the operative phrase.
