It's not raining here, I am getting ready now.

You'll probably have showers over the Pali...

It's raining slightly, the roads are glossy wet & you can't even see the bottom of the mountains let alone the Pali Gap. Next week for me folks. I'm gonna sand some carbon today. If you're out there I hope you have a good one.  [moto]

The JJ crew today consisted of me only...sun was out when I left the house but I got soaked on the way to JJ...rode west to Ko Olina, turned around and went north to Haleiwa, had lunch and was 90% dried out by the time I got home...bike is filthy... boo

I was planning on going today. I put the monster on the tender last night to make sure it would start this morning. sadly I didnt do a pre trip last night. And failed to notice the flat front tire. Along with no oil in the sight glass.  After the second trip to napa I got things all squared away, threw my leg over the seat and lightly brushed  my theigh against the rear signal light and snapped the bastard off. so this morning was wasted throwing things against the wall!

As it stands im looking to ride both sat and Sunday. I hope SSC get in my new goodies before then. A new seat, air filter, R.tire would be nice. plus if I can come up with an excuse for the wife on why I need to spend $200 more (for a 28 or 30 mm slave cylinder) lol

Im buying one from SSC because the one i orderd was for a 2007 and lower year model.... so if anyone wants a evoluzione 28.5mm slave cylinder. ill bite the bullet and let it go for $160. plus it would help me pay for the correct part at SSC witch is well over $200

but regardless ill be there, you just got to give me directions for dummies on how to get to the meet up spot as im 2 months new to this island.

I'd be there by 9:30...take Nimitz east from the dealer 5 miles or so to Ward Ave, turn left on Ward and go up one short block to Auahi...Starbucks/Jamba Juice will be on the corner on your right...

I thought you were autocrossing tomorrow.  B has a breakfast date tomorrow morning and was going to text me an hour or so ago about a late meetup. So far nothing.

I updated the brakes on the 848 today and made a late run around Tantalus. Must have been a record for having to pass cars and bikes in one trip. Bike is great but was only a short run and then home with one Norfolk pass.

A late JJ meetup sounds OK but we'll see.......

Other folks are interested in the JJ run but I'm always hesitant about the invite due to the mixed group.  You never know who likes the ride and who doesn't...... we've lost lots of folks in the past ....... not always a good thing but not always a bad thing... you never know
