that bike is quite the site, dude seems ok

Which one? The R1? The rider was walking around muttering & swearing when I went by.  Grin Can't say that I could blame him.

would that be this bike?

i don't think it's so much forums hawaii, as i remember mark's (turn1) rides being mellow. really depends on who's leading.

just from the pics they posted, i'm getting flash backs of the memorial ride that we joined. that one would could have turned into a major accident in a heartbeat.  Lips Sealed

personally, a lot of these official clubs scare me

Yes we do need a track and a good one too!  We could have an entertaining discussion about whether or not having a track would prevent stuff like this happening.  Personally I think this would still happen track or not.

on guam when they opened the track it did help but it didnt completely  stop the racing.

That's one F'ed up R1.  I agree with Rick though, a track will help scratch that itch with some people, but from what I saw, there are more riders down there that are just plain ass-hats.  A track, regardless of how nice it is, will not cure stupid.

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

+1       waytogo

That R1 was running around with track skins on it to begin with. Notice that they are missing in the photos. Why do you suppose they were on in the first place?

Too bad. That thing sounded wicked nice with it's Leo Vince cans and that crossplane engine.  [moto]

It depends hugely on the weather doncha know.  We've had a couple showers tonight and the clouds still looked pretty crazy all day over on this side. Sunset tonight showed some partial sun on the upper clouds so it looks like it's trying to dry out. We'll see how the morning looks but if we have dry roads & sky then yep.

As of 0600 it's looking a bit grim over here.  Maybe that's because it's still dark and the roads are wet.   cheeky   I'll check back in 2 hrs or so after chores.

Looking decent on this side, sun's breaking through...satellite pics show the front over the Big Island and the doppler loop shows decreasing showers... Grin
