What does a 6000 mile service consist of for a 2005 s4r?
What should one expect to pay out?
Is it something a dealer should do, or something you can have done while drinking Scott's beer and chillin in the hot tub?

I haven't had mine done yet but I know some of the easy stuff like oil change, fuel filter, check ALL the bolt torques, chain tension.

The thing that usually scare people is the valve adjustment, and cam belt change. It is recommended you change your cam belts every 2yrs or 12k miles. I doubt they have been changed on your bike so I would recommend getting that done. You can save a couple hundred bucks though by doing the easy stuff.

When I took the S4RS in for the 600 mile I just told them to do everything but the oil change.
