Boy, you mean that I have just been putting too much "stress" on myself by being a Pirates fan all my life? My God, I am lucky to be alive after almost 16 straight losing seasons now!

That's it then, tomorrow morning, I am checking the stats of each pro sport daily and will root for whoever has the best record. Yeah, that'll fix that nasty stress.

No.  I'm a Braves fan and I think we compare much better.  The Braves sucked in the 80's and then came to life in the 90's.  They won a bunch of games but would ultimately fail at the end of the season except one year.

All those pennants almost had me not wanting to pull for them any more.  Thank God we suck again though.  Now my fanship is safe.

i have always hated being called a "band wagon fan" for rooting for my teams.
the only difference between when they are winning and losing is how excited i am about it.
doesnt change whether or not i am a fan.
