Well that explains it then.

Speaking of helmets i was at cycle gear today and saw a steal of a deal on their clearance shelf.  Aria helmet originally $449 discounted to $179.  It appears that its the last one and they just need to get rid of it.  I couldn't find a size on the helmet but it fits my head and i wear a large so i assume its a large.

Yup.  I saw that lid.  Jet black.  And tried it on.  It is definitely an XL, pretty sure.  It was loosey-goosey on my noggin.  You'd have to be a bucket-headed sumpregnant dog to wear that thing.

I wear a size L Arai RX-whatever and it is snug.

I read somewhere online that Michael Jordan wears a size L Arai also.  I believe my similarity to MJ begins and ends right there.   ;D.

I guess i am a bucket-headed sumpregnant dog because the thing fit just fine on me.  If i was in the market for a helmet i would of looked at it a bit more.  Looking at the discount sticker on the helmet reveals it is being marked down because its been sitting around for six months.

Are you sure?  I was mis-informed for quite a while about proper helmet fitment.  A proper helmet must fit like a glove.  It (the helmet) must be un-rotatable on your head.

I.e., if you grab it by the chin portion and try to move it around your head while trying to keep your head still, your head must move with the helmet.  If it doesn't, then your helmet is too big.

By the way, that was just my funny internetz writein':  you're not a sumpregnant dog, bucketheaded or otherwise.  I'm a sumpregnant dog.   :)

Next time I see you I'm gonna do the helmet test on you, so don't kick me in the nutz when I grab your helmet when it's on your head..

Last i checked my head moved with my helmet when performing said helmet check.  When i tried on the helmet it passed the helmet test.  I just have a seriously large head.  Most hats don't fit me, and the ones that do are adjustable ones that are maxed out on the adjustment.

Buckethead is the man. Anyone else see him at the Crystal Ballroom a few months back? Except for the HOUR INTERMISSION because they couldn't get the sound working right, it was excellent.
