i have seen and shaken hands (chords?) with the one we call "Toasty", and i was going to steal him...

i had it all worked out; room on the rear seat, a bag to put him in, and a net to strap him down.
when the time came, i looked and looked, but he was nowhere to be found; he had been toast-napped.
There was much pondering of where he could be; some people even had the audacity to blame me! All i could do was shake my head and sigh when accused.
He was almost mine... almost.

I think I was caught on camera in a port-a-potty with Toasty once.

Although it's not unusual for me to lock myself in a bathroom with an appliance, this was the first one that didn't have batteries.   Evil

I need more inspiration for this little piece, Bobspapa... I'm going to rent Maximum Overdrive (yes, I was one of the 17 people that actually liked that movie, but you have to be rrrrrreally high...er....or so I've heard) and various episodes of KnightRider to get into the zen/spirit/ghost of the machine.   cheeky

I sent a letter to Oster, and gave them a lil info on Toasty, and asked for any info and or pics they may have on the manufacturing process.

Toasty's been very lucky to have such a wonderful family.  Lots of family vacations, time on the road, knows his cousins better than I know mine!!!  What a great life.

Interesting how versatile he is.   The different facets of his personality come out with each relative he stays with!

I can see why. I need an intervention too.

He'll be back from his most recent deployment soon so I'll bug him to post up pics and stories. Toasty is a good fireman.

1. 1098 launch in CT
2. 06 laguna GP
3. 08 dimby (the first original official dimby)
4. 08 indy GP

i believe the 08 indy GP was the last time he made an appearance ...
i happened to take a pic of him on the counter of the desmo ohio booth
he looks like he needs a spa day  laughingdp laughingdp
