That looks okay, but a little cheap in my opinion.  I'm not quite understanding the shape, the way it gets fatter at the end.  Maybe if it was in carbon fiber, it would look better.

A 696 version from the same company.... hmmm

No way! The curve goes with the wheel.  It has to be curved so it doesn't go up your passenger's leg.  That sweet sound comes from the shape

Just needs to be powdercoated black.

I like the shape of the Galassetti.  Aesthetically, why put a plain cylinder at a wierd angle on something that has few straight lines.  I think it would look better if it were shorter, but it looks good as is.  I just still can't wrap my head around exhausts (oem or aftermarket) in the stock position.

The only problem with the Galasetti is it requires the stock rearsets. thos who have dropped them... out of luck.

I took this last summer sometime and I've been meaning to post it.  It's not great and I'll probably do a better one in the near future.  Anyway, I've got stainless Zard slip-ons on my 696.  I think they sound pretty good.  I had to put the dB killers in because it runs really lean and we have a baby in the house.  It wouldn't do to wake the baby when I leave for work at 530am.

Dammit!  How do you embed video from somewhere other than Youtube?

I like the Galasetti can. I'd like it more if it were an under the tail mount like the oem exhaust.

Rodan Box #3

Sounds great!

Been trying to get in touch with Ryan, I want to buy the Rodan box. I like the twin tubes fine but after installing a custom made baffle I'd like to get the rodan as a loud option.

Dude is impossible to get in touch with.

What did you do to make your baffle? I was just talking about making one today in the hopes that some back pressure smooths out power.

I spoke to ryan via email yesterday. He said that they are making a baffle for the setup which hopefully will be avail soon... They also have the rodan box in titanium which might be nice!

I emailed him at ryanwhampton@yahoo.com. If you havnt tried that, give it a try.

I emailed him at ryanwhampton@yahoo.com. If you havnt tried that, give it a try.

He responded today!

I made the baffle out of these mini muscle baffles.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MINI-MUSCLE-MUFFLER-BAFFLE-8-LONG-1-3-8-DIA-USA-MADE-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3f0729d1f9QQitemZ270703120889QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_727wt_941

I was surprised with the high quality of the baffle. Bought 2 of them in the 1 3/8" size and they fit perfectly snug in the existing tip. Drilled a hole through the baffle and into the existing baffle that is welded in and screwed in a self tapping screw.

Worked perfectly. Greatly reduced the volume, it's basically perfect. The only down side is a lot of the bass was suppressed by the new baffle. Good news is, the baffle is removable and re-installable.

I plan on buying a second tip from Ryan and hopefully getting my hands on the new gen baffle he mentioned in the email I got from him today.
