Looks totally stock and super clean, not many of those left around in that condition.  Super low miles for that age, how does it run?

Hey Guys!  Im the proud new owner of #16.  8k miles on her and was just serviced.  The owner mentioned something about the immobilizer/alarms and ECU's on these bikes as causing starting issues.  Any info on that?

Not as much a problem on yours as later models, but while your bike is in the shop you might consider a flash to kill it.  IMO, mostly a system that prevents the rightful owner from operating the motorcycle.

hey boys : i have #150   - so theres another one for the list

its a little beat up, 18400km, found it in Japan and shipped it into South Africa last month

#196 just picked it up two weeks ago with 4,400 miles and looking like it's never been out for a ride.  I was hunting for a SSS monster and came upon this one and couldn't resist.
It's a beautiful bike with it's color scheme and enough CF to keep me turning around for another look as I try to walk away.
I know the S4 was only produced for a short time and eons ago to boot but what surprises me is the lack of available rearsets to be found anywhere...nowhere!?

Have you tried Jeff at Monsterparts?

He shows Ducabike rearsets that will fit.

I have these on my 01 S4. They are pretty solid. Only issue is the placement of the brake master is very close to the exhaust pipe of the high mount exhaust.

I'm a bit of a meatball and they hold up against my weight at the track. No complaints at all.

Congrats on the new scooter!
Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

I've been looking at the ducabike rearsets but feeling like iwanted something different or something with a little more machining to them. I had ducabike on my 07 s4r and liked them they were a nice compliment to the bike.  It looks like rizoma would work and i was leaning towards them and then I  came across a set of dp rearsets used but in new shape.  I'm waiting for them now I just hope they fit with regard to the rear master.

All that seems to still exist is Dukabike, though you might find used or new old on fleabay.  Problem there is if you need a replacement part.

Ummm...found these
