Funny thing about the Foggy. Most people don't know what it is, and certainly don't care.
Most Duc owners I've met seem to think it was an over priced, out of date bike and don't really respect it's exclusivity.
But every now and then, someone sees mine, and knows what it is, and thinks it's pretty cool they've actually seen one in action.
Personally, I love my Foggy. But then I've been through a slew of other bikes, and finally decided I just want to get one I like, and hang on to it for a long time.
Long live the Foggy!

You're right about people not knowing what the Foggy's are about, and even the S4 is pretty unknown to most.   I've been asked if my bike was a 600.   Well, yes, of course it is.

Do you want to join the club, I'm thinking about selling/parting mine.

It's the Moto Corse swing arm. There are better pics of it earlier in the thread.

I actually saw my first foggy this morning.  I was sitting in traffic on rt. 28 with the bike off since I didn't move an inch in about 45 minutes  [bang].  I heard something familiar, looked over into the oncoming lane, and a foggy flew by....that is such a badass paint scheme  [thumbsup]

Where were you 2 months ago when I was looking for a new bike?

Are you thinking of parting the whole thing or just a few specific parts? Either way I am interested in a few of the goodies on it.  ;D

was just reading your thread along time back about when you first picked up your salvaged title foggy and everyone was giving you shit about how it was a huge project and they all doubted you, man have you proved them wrong... happy you kept the sss.

Magnus

haha yeah thanks, that was a long time ago.  i think that thread is on the old board?

i just tried to fire up the black fog but the battery is toast, won't hold a charge either.  tried to buy one of those new Shorai batteries but they are sold out everywhere.
