How's the club going my friend? Are you coming down for Indy this year?

The new club's coming along nicely man! We have a decent amount of interest among the local Duc rider/enthusiasts, and that's before the riding season has even opened up. We're all psyched for a decent season.

Indy is looking doubtful, unfortunately. I always have work commitments the last weekend of August so unless there's a miracle I'm probably out of luck. :-\ We'll see though. Where are you and the CDC crew staying this year?

It looks like we're camping next to the track this year. Much cheaper option. There's a slim chance I might go to Laguna, but that's still up in the air. You're going to need an excuse to head farther south to extend your riding season.

Camping close to the track is the way I'd do it if I was going. We stayed at the Red Roof Inn last year and it was a good 10mile drive to the track. Totally defeated the fun of bringing a cooler to the track and getting silly because someone had to be level-headed enough to manage the drive/ride home :-\ Being able to stumble back to a tent is definitely the way to go. [thumbsup]

Back on the cafe fairing topic, check these guys out: MAS Engineering. They make some really nice bolt-on cafe pieces from aluminum. No FHE with them but their products look really nice.

Oops... sorry killerniceguy. I didn't see that you replied to this thread until tonight.

The Thrux race fairing looks good on your S2R. [thumbsup] Are your gauges in the stock position above the triple? It looks like the fairing gives you a lot more wind protection than mine does with the lowered gauges and headlight. I ust put about 300kms on my Monster yesterday and there's next to no wind protection from my fairing. But it looks good ;)
