I don't think the Cadillac is the same arguement as the OCC stealth bike.

The stealth bike doesn't appear to have been designed as a whole, as OverCaffeinated stated, it's just a lot of off the shelf parts bolted/welded together. The off the shelf parts, clearly visible, and recognizable.

I've seen a couple OCC bikes that I liked...but in general, the theme bikes suck.

The Apache & I,Robot bikes weren't bad.  Theme bikes..yes..but not too over the top.

don't worry, sweetie, I hear they're coming out w/a turkey bacon theme'd bike next

Which one of their bikes was it that jumped over the shark? It was in the second season I think....I don't know.

I like some of the stuff Jesse James does at West Coast Choppers, and the bikes Indian Larry made, but the only bike OCC built that I really thought was cool was the all copper one. That was pretty slick.

IMO, their most interesting stuff is in the background of the show. Not that I watch much, can't stomach the 'drama' or the hideous theme bikes but can appreciate the effort that goes into them.

If you like Larry's stuff, you'll probably dig my hardtail project which had been spotted in progress on TOB. By spring I'm hoping. Stu can't wait to see it.
