Hope it's not too late for this posting

If there's any trouble today and you need a truck with a ramp and there's no one closer, call me.

Mineola is about 80 miles due East of Dallas, so it'll take a bit of time to reach whereever the problem would be; but I'll come if anyone needs me.

Sorry I just thought of this; and sorry I can't make the ride today.

The CaffineDude has my number at his PM, and I think Scott has it on his iLifeSupportGadgetThingie.

Great ride and great route  waytogo [moto]

Thanks T for planning and leading, we have to do this route again.  Grin

Nice meeting you John, I hope you can make more rides. Andy, at least that the trooper only wanted to discuss your performance and ask that you not give an encore....   Police Evil

I split off at the 287 north toward town, just in enough time to see T and CDC off to the races toward I20....  Shocked

Can't wait for the next ride  [moto]

Well, I'm glad the time change pushed the start back. i was having a moment of reality there for a moment. for me personally this was a most enjoyable ride. Thanks Tommy for putting this together and doing a fine job of leading. Really good to see Andy and John (my bad, I was thinking Ashok for some reason) again enjoyed catching up with you guys. CJ and Dan, always enjoy riding with you guys.  ***, really glad to see you on the ST4s again! I'm going guess about you passed me on the straight at around 140-150? Right? he he he..... looked like you were just out for a stroll. It was very cool to see the Honda RC51 that rolled up to the red light at one those dots on the map we passed through.

After I split from the group back to the house, I took off around W 820 with some dude on a new Goldwing on my tail. We entered into the lanes at around 80 or so. Ater I shifted into 4th looked back and he was still on my tailight at 95! So I twisted the right wrist back and grabbed 6th both together still. I looked down at the speedo and saw that he finally backed out around 135. Damn! Those birds can fly! I then looked across the median at some bikes coming into view and noticed a RED ST4s or 1098 staring back at me followed closely by a black SBK of some kind, after that a white 848 and a Gixr. I thought for a moment it might have been Bryant, Brian and RichD. Anybody out that way this afternoon ?

All in all a great day for a final day of riding for the next two or so months. Hmmmm... I wonder if Cyclone might want to keep the battery charged by riding RED for a while? At least that way he could feel like a real Ducatisti. Can't wait till I can ride with you all again. Smiley

Grin Wow Red ! That is very flattering that you would even consider making such an offer !  I hope you can live with a little threadjack when I tell you Red that I saw Willie Nelson last night and he had carpal tunnel repair 6 months ago and he played all the guitar last night - no back up guitar player - and he was unbelievably good & still at the top of his game.  I suspect you will be making this AMS ride pain & numbness free before you know it !  [moto]  waytogo

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

I didn't know that about Willie. He is surprisingly entertaining isn't he. I mentioned the bike thinking if you rode the bike for a while you'd buy it! Smiley

Thanks all for a great ride and the chance to meet one of your finer looking troopers,  Police Kiss , but I guess that bit was my own doing.

John also thanks you all for making him feel so welcome.

I (we) look forward to another adventure soon.
