It just gets worse.

Bankruptcy and foreclosures in the past.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I have seen that movie, and I was thinking the same thing.  "This is how it starts"   Can you buy stock in monster trucks and electrolytes?

Holy crapola. Imagine being that father.

"Honey, you have to stay. You have a child now. In fact, you have eight."

Thus begins one poor sod's descent into the depths of living hell, all because he didn't put on a rubber.

Hmmm... Sounds like the embryos were left-overs from an earlier IV treatment? I still find it troubling that someone would have gone and put them in her given her living conditions. I bet if there were limits on government support for gross negligence such as this less people would do it. Kinda sounds like the mother has some mental issues the way they say she is "obsessed with having children."

Would you feel bad if you were the guy that gave the sperm to the clinic that allowed this to happen? Or perhaps mad that they misused "you" in such a way? At least the guy doesn't have to pay child support.

There have been a number of cases of this sort. If she were to take him to court, I would expect that he would have to pay child support for all of them.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Ouch... that would suck... Remind me never to donate to a clinic no matter how desperate I am for coin.  :-X

You'd make more accepting donations.

you could no more have such limits than having a law that says certain people may not have children.  the people can endorse supporting children but there can't be a law preventing someone from having more. (however, a court can put limits if there is criminal acts involved, but that is not the case here)

IMO...

This is absolutely f-ing ridiculous!!!  Some chick decides that 6 kids isn't enough for her so she goes and gets in-vitro to have 8 more.  Who do you think is paying for these kids?!?  Not her that's for sure.  I heard it is going to cost $3 mil in hospital bills by the time they release her and her spawn from the hospital, not to mention how much it costs to raise that many kids.  Then I read today that she has hired a spokesperson and has been offered book deals, tv shows...etc.  Sounds like a huge, expensive publicity stunt to me.  F her and her kids that WE will end up paying for.  I understand that we can't legally control how many kids someone can have but those doctors who knocked her up should lose their licenses.  Greedy Biatch!  [bang]

she's either getting donations (and claiming them to the IRS  :-X) or going to look to the government (our $) to help support these children.  it's wrong, but how do we stop it?
