Very nicely done.
I like your color scheme. I think that's the first 696 I've seen with a headlight mod. Nice old school look to it.

planning on installing a steering dampener too, feels kinda twitchy?!
Why? Is it too dry?
I think what you mean is a steering
damper
.
And that looks GREAT.
That headlight completely changes the looks of the bike.
Good work!

Looks good. I like the good 'ol round headlight
Any way to tuck that exhaust up next to the tail a little more? It just looks so out in the open.

Love the headlight! Now if you can only get the high beam to work.

I was told by Bill Swatt that the riser part itself can be turned around to (maybe) avoid the need for spacers. Was this an option when you installed yours? If you decide to do that, please post your findings - I'm doing the same thing with my bike, which has the same reservoirs.
MotoWheels have rearsets coming, they just needed to fabricate some spacers, brackets or something.....

Looks like the screws caps are sunk into the riser, so unless it's like that on both sides,
BTW, Good job!!!
I notice the swatt clip-ons look VERY bulky. Are those risers solid aluminum? How much do they weigh?

From Bill Swatt on the phone just now: they are counter sunk, but that will change on the following production - so, soon they will be delivered with 30mm bolts instead of 25mm and they will not be countersunk on either side.
My guess: this way they will be reversible to MAYBE avoid the need for spacers.
PS the whole package with packing material is 2.8 lbs - quite sturdy

In the works:
14t sprocket
new rear tire (already punctured!)
was the lower CW plate mount what punctured your tire?
and i heard a 14t sprocket makes for a smoother ride, how is it?

yeah 2 spacers needed each side.
no, tire was punctured from a nail in my alley. lame.
replacement tire is $190!?!
and the suzuki shop was really hesitant to even mount the tire, i asked them to install 14t while wheel was off, dude was like, "i don't know if we will do that, on account of ducati doing a lot of weird stuff".
wow.

i have NO idea, it was kind of shocking actually. I think when he sees how simple it is he will feel silly for saying that??
btw anyone have any ideas for mounting my rear signals? I like the position that my lic plate is mounted but unfortunately that location gets rid of the signal mounts
