It would have, but they got backlogged sending out the notices.

I payed off a credit card with it, then closed the account. A step forward for us.

I got a letter on the 10th, dated the 12th, saying I would get my payment on the 9th. I got it on the 9th.

I payed off a credit card with it, then closed the account. A step forward for us.

Bad move. Never close the account, you just reduced the amount of available credit. You probably increased your debt ratio by doing that.

Paying it off is good, but NEVER close an account....
