Wish I had a dollar for every cube of concrete I have hand mixed and poured! Doin it in a barrow gets old by the end of a day! Definitely go hired cement mixer if you can.

Even better is to have the cement truck come If you are doing a couple of Yards. It worked out well for two of my Patios but the driveway...The guy brought me a hot load and it started going off within a half hour.

Yep and getting some other bozo to do the job is the ultimate! Having said that I find it very satisfying once your finished. Do you guys have the 'Slab for a slab' over there?

Drink a slab (carton) of beer once your finished pouring the slab of concrete.

not our bags . . plus I need iron bracing, sand, stone . . .blocks . ..

Meh-it's cheap, if part cracks and sinks, just put another layer on it.

You likely don't need bracing and all that rot.

Staying up late!  is good. Looked at a cottage today. It was good, only missing the bath tub.  The rent is very doable. 1.1 mile from work. All uphill. I could maybe afford a bike again with that rent 

Looking at another place on Wednesday. They want to meet Lucy. Good thing I will have time to take her to the park for a long walk/paly time.

I had to fix almost every word I just typed. They were mostly typed backwards. Being me is fun.
