Hope things work out with Z.  I heard a lady on the radio say she used dog training techniques on her family.  Might work  [laugh]

Invisible fence for the rooms you don't want the kids crawling in to  ;D  Rolled up newspaper for misbehaving & put outside for excessive gas  [laugh]

Z doesn't like things really hot...or really cold.   :-\

I had my tonsils out at 30.  I could not even keep the pain meds down the first 24 hours.  After that it was OK.  I ate lots of pudding and mashed potatoes.  I do not like ice cream, so none of that.

My pain was minimal.  No kids, so no thoughts on what to do.  Hang in there.  Maybe a check up to make sure that there is not a laceration or blistering at the incision site?

The surgeon doesn't want to follow up until 30 days.

He's on antibiotics and narcotics.

I would like to limit the narcotics....his brain is still developing...no need to short circuit it more than absolutely necessary.

It's just hard to know.

Screw the surgeon.  Call his pediatrician and take him in.  Better safe than sorry.  It nothing else, it will peace of mind.

Maybe you should give him a call.  Explain your concerns.  He might have some suggestions.   :-\

Call is in already.

For those of you that haven't dealt with doctors lately...

it's really tough to get past a nurse on the phone.

set your alarm EXTRA early tomorrow and ask her :)

;D

Depends on what I'm doing the night before as to when I get to bed.... [evil]
But I usually get up early.  I don't always login, but the latest I get up is 530.  Most days it's around 4 (even if I've gone to bed at 2)
